Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trial Delivery: WCR Phase 2a Case
A nonrandomized Phase 2a ulcerative colitis study required participant preparation, transport coordination, and an adaptable visit plan.

WCR-reported study results
The clinical setting shaped the operational work
WCR describes preparing participants for invasive procedures and coordinating appointments around active symptoms. Transportation and scheduling were part of helping participants manage the requirements of the study alongside their condition.
What WCR reports
The first screening took place within three weeks of activation. The site reports no screen failures, reaching its enrollment goal well before overall study enrollment closed, and 100% participant completion. This was a nonrandomized study. The case does not disclose the participant denominator or the interval from first screening to reaching the goal.
Review the procedure pathway with the site
For an ulcerative colitis protocol, consider who coordinates preparation instructions, specialty appointments, transport, and follow-up when symptoms change. WGR brings those dependencies into feasibility and study delivery discussions with the local clinical team. That makes the operational plan more specific to the protocol and patient population.
