The practice was the starting point

WCR identifies the investigator’s private-practice patients as the candidate pool for this study. Early prescreening and engagement helped potential participants understand the opportunity. The study focused on obesity and weight maintenance and excluded diabetes.

Study participation crossed appointment types

The operational work extended to ophthalmology assessments, nutrition, and lifestyle appointments. These activities needed to fit around research visits and participant availability. WCR reports eight screenings in less than one month, with all eight subsequently randomized. The randomization interval is not specified.

Turn access into an executable visit pathway

Existing patient relationships create a starting point, but a trial also needs coordination across providers and study requirements. WGR helps physician partners connect that clinical familiarity with staffing, external procedures, appointment planning, and central operational support. Sponsors can evaluate the pathway alongside the population estimate.
