Gastroenterology clinical research

Gastroenterology Clinical Trial Sites and Research Support

Digestive-disease research starts with the right clinical connections.

Clinical fit and patient access

Digestive-disease research starts with the right clinical connections.

Gastroenterology protocols connect office-based care with procedures, symptom reporting, specimen collection, and long-term follow-up. WGR brings these needs into one feasibility discussion. Through our sister company Wellness Clinical Research and participating practice relationships, we assess digestive-disease opportunities in South Florida and Puerto Rico, with the proposed investigator and procedure pathway reviewed for each study.

Existing clinical relationships provide context that a simple diagnosis count cannot. Our assessment distinguishes available records from people who may meet the study’s treatment, disease-activity, and procedural requirements. Local and central teams agree on a practical outreach and follow-up plan before recruitment commitments are made.

Study planning questions

A useful first
conversation.

Can WGR coordinate endoscopy requirements?

We assess the proposed location’s procedure relationships, scheduling, specimen needs, and documentation requirements during feasibility. Procedure availability is confirmed for the individual protocol.

How do you assess an IBD recruitment estimate?

The review considers diagnosis, treatment history, disease activity, prior testing, competing studies, and screening burden. Access to records is a starting point, not confirmation of eligibility.

What should a sponsor send for an initial GI review?

A synopsis or protocol, key eligibility criteria, required procedures, location preferences, and enrollment timelines help us identify the right clinical and operational reviewers.
