Enmanuel Corvo
Clinical research operations and technology leadership, connected through the work of building stronger sites and more capable teams.
Connect with WGREngineering experience.
A site-level perspective.
Enmanuel Corvo brings software engineering and operational leadership into clinical research. His work began with startup product development and enterprise applications, including projects with Fortune 500 companies. As a Principal Engineer and Director of Engineering, he helped build a product and lead the engineering work at a company that was later acquired by a large public company.
His engineering leadership experience included more than 30 engineers and responsibility across QA, DevOps, design, and business teams. That work shaped an approach centered on clear priorities, practical systems, and helping people develop the judgment to solve problems together.
Leadership shaped by research operations.
Technology gaps in recruitment and site selection drew Enmanuel into clinical research. Working more closely with sites broadened that focus to the people and preparation behind each study: how a team gets ready, how work passes between roles, and what participants need to manage outside the visit itself.
As Director of Operations and Global Research Director at Wellness Clinical Research, he works with the Miami and Puerto Rico teams on study opportunities, feasibility, startup, sponsor and CRO relationships, staffing, and recruitment. His technology work remains informed by those everyday operational needs.
Building the WGR partnership.
As part of WGR’s executive team, Enmanuel is focused on bringing research capability into established medical practices. The model connects local clinical expertise with central operations, technology, mentorship, and study development so research-naive teams can build experience with continuing support.
- Clinical research operations and site development
- Sponsor and CRO partnership coordination
- Technology and practical workflow design
- Investigator and team capability development
A continuing conversation about the work.
Enmanuel writes The Site Perspective, a personal publication about clinical research operations, leadership, participant access, and the relationships between sites, sponsors, CROs, and technology teams.
